Description
Harry Simmonds was a full back in Aston Villa’s earliest years. He was a member of Villa’s team that won The Birmingham Cup in 1880, the club’s first silverware of note. His younger brother Joey also played for Aston Villa and was a member of their victorious 1887 FA Cup Final winning team that beat West Bromwich Albion 2-0 at The Kennington Oval.
