Description
Winger James Reilly had a relatively brief football career. He began at junior Cheshire club Sale Holmfield in 1903 from where he joined Second Division Blackpool, making his Football League debut in a 1-0 victory against Lincoln City at Bloomfield Road in April 1905. He also played in a 3-1 defeat at Manchester United two days later. The new season saw him play once more for The Seasiders, in a 3-0 home defeat to West Bromwich Albion that November, before he returned to non league football joining Brynn Central at the end of the year.
