Description
Montrose, Angus born outside right Bertie Dunn began his football career with Blantyre Victoria in 1920 and joined Scottish League Alloa Athletic in 1921, where he spent four seasons before signing for Second Division Clapton Orient in April 1925, making his Football League debut in a win at Fulham the same month. He played in each of The O’s last three matches of the 1924-25 season but managed only one more start for the Orient first team in August 1925, joining North Eastern League Carlisle United in 1926. However when Carlisle joined the Football League in 1928, Dunn had already left Brunton Park and the details of his onwards career after Carlisle are uncertain.
