Description
Wallsend, Northumberland born outside left James Livingstone had a brief football career, which began after the First World War with Walker Celtic in 1921. He joined Third Division (North) club Lincoln City in 1922 and made his Football League debut in a 1-1 draw against Barrow at Sincil Bank on 30th December 1922. He retained his place for the visit to Hartlepools United on 2nd January 1923, which ended in a 2-0 defeat, after which he was dropped, and he never played for Lincoln City’s first team thereafter. His subsequent football career is unknown.
