Description

Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire born centre forward Benjamin Prosser began his football career with Leeds as an amateur and joined hometown First Division club Stoke in 1902, making his Football League debut, and only appearance for The Potters, in a defeat at Derby County in March 1903. Prosser joined Second Division club Bradford City over the summer ahead of their first Football League season, making his debut in their second League fixture, a 3-1 home defeat to Gainsborough Trinity that September. He scored 5 goals in 19 matches for The Bantams during a single season at Valley Parade, and his career after leaving Bradford City is uncertain.
