Hucknall, Notts born full back Jack Feebery signed for First Division Bolton Wanderers from Bulwell White Star making his debut against Arsenal in September 1909. His career at Bolton lasted over 10 years and despite the interruption of World War One he scored 16 goals in 192 games for The Trotters (half his goals being scored from the penalty spot). Having played most of the earlier matches in Bolton’s resumption season when peacetime football returned, he lost his place in the Bolton team in February 1920 and in the summer of 1920 he joined Division 3 (South) Exeter City where he was an ever present in their inaugural Football League season. However he spent only one year in Devon moving to Brighton the following summer. Although he was ever present in his first season, already in his mid 30’s he lost his place in the team towards the end of 1922 and only made occasional appearances thereafter, and by the time he joined non league Mid-Rhondda United in 1924 he had scored 3 goals in 67 appearances for The Seagulls. He was the elder brother of Albert Feebery who played for Coventry City and Crystal Palace, and his youngest brother Alf played for Notts County and Bristol Rovers in the 1930’s. Additionally 3 brothers played reserve team football at various clubs.
