Fulham, London born right half Ronnie Rowe was an amateur footballer who started his football career with Olympus Athletic and St Paul’s after the end of the First World War, and joined Wimbledon in 1921, playing there for three seasons before being transferred to Brentford in 1924, for whom he made his Football League debut at Brighton & Hove Albion in December that year, playing alongside older brother Vivian.
He played 8 matches for The Bees through to the end of the 1924-25 season before returning to Wimbledon later in 1925, later joining Hayes in 1929 for three seasons with a brief spell at Uxbridge in 1931. He was part of the Hayes team that won the London Senior Cup in 1932. From Hayes he joined Athenian League club Golders Green (now Hendon FC) in 1932 and scored 39 goals in 70 appearances for them over two seasons, before joining Pinner in 1934 where he finished his playing days.
