Description
North Shields born winger Harry Stott spent 1921-22 on the books at Aston Villa but failed to make the first eleven at Villa Park, moving to join Brentford in the close season of 1922. He made his Football League debut at Gillingham that August and made 24 appearances during the 1922-23 season, before joining non league Preston Colliery in the summer of 1923. He subsequently returned to the Football League spending 1927-28 at Barnsley, but again he failed to make a first team appearance during his spell at Oakwell.
