Tottenham, London born left half Harry Bagge started his football career with Tottenham Hotspur as an amateur in the final season of peacetime football, 1914-15 but never played for their first eleven. During the First World War he served in the Royal Naval Air Service as an Air Mechanic 2nd Class and later in the RAF Reserve. On the resumption of peacetime football he signed for Second Division Fulham after demobilisation in the 1919 close season, making his Football League debut against South Shields that August, and from the start of the 1920-21 season he was a first team regular, described at the time as “a consistent player who feeds his forwards with discrimination”, through to October 1925 when he lost his place.
He joined non league Northfleet in 1926 after 191 games and a single goal for The Cottagers and had a spell on loan with Sheffield Wedneday during 1927-28, without making their first eleven. In 1928 he joined Spanish League club Athletic Bilbao returning to England in 1934 to finish his playing career with Hinckley Amateurs.
He went to coach in Spain after the Second World War and later managed Athletic Bilbao from 1947 to 1949 and Salamanca from 1950 to 1951.
