Description

Dudley born centre forward Eli Bradley started his football career with Bilston Town in January 1898 and played for Dudley Town in 1904 before he joined First Division West Bromwich Albion in July 1905. Already an England junior international earlier the same year, he made his Football League debut at Burnley in December 1905, but he never established himself as a regular starter at The Hawthorns and in three seasons scored 6 times in 27 appearances before joining Southern League Luton Town in July 1908.

In August 1909 he moved to Coventry City, where he enjoyed three seasons, scoring 20 goals in 116 appearances, and while at Coventry he captained the Southern League representative eleven on three occasions during 1911-12 before joining Scottish League Heart of Midlothian, making 9 League and Cup appearances for Hearts during 1912-13 before returning to non league Dudley Town in July 1913, retiring immediately after the end of the 1918-19 season.
