Description
Coventry born wing half Reg Dalton signed for Coventry City from local junior football in 1919, making his Football League debut for Coventry at Hull City in February 1920. He became a regular starter in 1920-21 playing 28 games but thereafter struggled to make the first eleven, and in his four seasons at Highfield Road made a total of 54 appearances, scoring 4 goals. Released by Coventry in 1923, he returned to local non league football with Foleshill and Nuneaton Town.
