Description
Little is known of the football career of centre forward Aneurin Evans, who was playing for North Wales club Porth before being signed by Third Division (South) club Merthyr Town in 1922, making his Football League debut against Southend United at the end of December the same year. He scored his only goal for Merthyr in a 1-1 draw with Reading in January, a month in which he played 3 further fixtures for Merthyr, playing in both home and away fixtures against Southend and Reading, which proved the totality of his League career.
