Description

Egham, Surrey born centre forward Eddie Fuller played for London Caledonians in 1920 before joining Brighton & Hove Albion initially as an amateur in February 1921, turning professional a month later and making his Football League debut against Merthyr Town in February 1922. The following season he established himself as a regular member of the Brighton team, scoring 13 goals in 36 appearances during the campaign which was enough to make him the club’s top scorer that season, but he fell out of favour and became a fringe player despite a hat-trick against Aberdare Athletic on Christmas Day 1925. After 20 goals in 76 appearances, he joined Watford in May 1927 having converted to a half back and played 59 games over the next 2 seasons before being released at the end of the 1928-29 season. He re-joined Brighton & Hove Albion, making 2 further first team appearances in December 1929, and in 1930 joined non league Worthing.
