Dennistoun, Glasgow born outside left Tommy (sometimes William/Willie) Gall began his football career with Bridgeton Waverley, from where he joined Clyde in 1925. He moved on to King’s Park (now Stirling Albion) in 1926 and to Falkirk in 1927, for whom he scored on his debut against St Johnstone that August and spent six years at Brockville Park before joining Aberdeen in June 1933 where he had a single season, scoring 3 goals in 22 matches for The Dons.
He moved to England to join Second Division club West Ham United in 1934, for whom he made his Football League debut and only appearance in a defeat at Newcastle United in February 1935, and he returned to Scotland in June 1935 to join St Mirren. He scored 5 goals in 23 matches for The Buddies but was released in April 1937 and his career thereafter is uncertain.
