Description
Right back Charlie Giles had two seasons with Southern League club Swindon Town having joined them from The Army, making his debut for The Robins during their 1912-13 campaign when he made 9 League appearances and one in the Southern League Cup, becoming a regular feature in their 1913-14 line up when he made 30 League appearances and played in 2 FA Cup ties. With the outbreak of the First World War in August 1914 he re-joined the Army and his football career ended.
