Howden Willie Image 1 Partick Thistle 1905

Description
Glasgow born goalkeeper Willie Howden played junior football for Rutherglen Glencairn before joining Rangers in 1900. He transferred to Partick Thistle in 1904-05 and was capped once for Scotland when he played against Ireland at Parkhead in a 4-0 victory in March 1905. He later played for Abercorn.
NB the photograph was taken before a game with Celtic on 4th November 1905.
