Description
Newcastle born wing half Joe Jameson had played for Wallsend Park Villa from where he joined First Division Sheffield Wednesday in 1905, making his Football League debut in the derby at Sheffield United in April 1907. He was a fringe player during his entire 4 year spell at Hillsborough, making in total 7 first team appearances before joining non league Castleford Town in 1909. He then returned to the north east to play for Newcastle City in 1913 and Hartlepools United in 1914.
