Description
Seaton Delaval, Northumberland born wing half Bill Johnson played junior football for Seaton Delaval in 1922 before joining Second Division Hull City a year later, making his Football League debut at Nelson in September 1923. He was a first team regular in 1923-24 making 35 appearances, but fell out of favour and made only 13 more appearances over the next two seasons, before leaving the club in 1926 to join non league Blyth Spartans.
