A mystery player. No player with the surname has ever played League football and the suspicion is that this could be a Derby County reserve team player from before the First World War, as both Durham City and Derry City were yet to be founded. However Derby County photographs from the time show no badge on the shirts and it is possible the DCFC relates to another club. Full biography to follow.
