Description
Full back Billy Marshall signed for Southern League club Swindon Town from Midland League club Denaby United in the summer of 1908 and was a regular performer, mainly at right back, in Swindon’s 1908-09 campaign, playing 28 matches for The Robins. However he lost his regular place the next season and made only 8 further Southern League appearances, and none during 1910-11 when he did play in 3 of his 4 Southern League Cup fixtures. His career post Swindon Town is uncertain.
