Description
Edinburgh born left back William Nolli first played for Hibernian in 1880 before their professional era, playing for Hibs against Hearts in the Edinburgh Shield at Hibernian Park in 1884, and went to England to play for Darlington St Augustine’s in the mid 1880’s. He captained Darlington St Augustine’s when they won the first Northern Football League in 1889-90.
