Description

Kinghorn, Fife born left half Bobby Orrock played junior football for Kinghorn Thistle and Forth Rangers before joining Scottish League East Stirlingshire in the 1906 close season. He joined rivals Falkirk in May 1908, and was a notable feature in Falkirk’s successful period around the end of the decade, scoring once in 206 appearances for Falkirk, and he was their captain when Falkirk beat Raith Rovers 2-0 in the The Scottish Cup Final in 1913.

In March 1913 he was selected for Scotland, playing in a 0-0 draw against Wales at The Racecourse Ground, Wrexham, in what proved his only cap for his country. In May 1917 he joined St Mirren and made 38 appearances for The Buddies over a 3 year period, before joining Alloa Athletic in 1920, helping them to win the 1922 Scottish Second Division Championship. He remained with Alloa until 1923 when he joined Third Lanark, going on their 1923 tour of South America, and staying a season before re-joining East Stirlingshire in 1924, where he finished his career in 1925.
