Description

West Bromwich, Staffordshire born outside left Jack Pedley began his football career with Wednesbury Old Athletic, from where he joined First Division club Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1905, making his Football League debut at Liverpool that December, He immediately established himself as a first team regular and scored a hat-trick in a win over Notts County in April 1906. Nonetheless Wolves were relegated but Pedley was ever present in their 1906-07 campaign in the Second Division.

The following season Pedley played in all 7 FA Cup ties that ended in the 1908 FA Cup Final as Wolves beat Newcastle United 3-1 at The Crystal Palace, and was a regular for two further seasons before joining Combination club Wrexham in 1910 after 28 goals in 168 matches for Wolves. However during a single season at The Racecourse Ground, he played just once for the first eleven before leaving in June 1911, his career thereafter being unrecorded.
