Description
Woolwich, London born right back Sydney Regan’s Football League career was brief and the rest of his career uncertain. He made his Football League debut for Millwall in a Division Three (South) fixture against Gillingham at The Den on Boxing Day 1922 and made a further 6 appearances, all of which were in April and early May in the run in to Millwall’s 6th place League finish. He remained at the club at the start of their 1923-24 campaign but never played for the Millwall first eleven again and his movements after leaving the club are uncertain.
NB In the photograph he is on the right in the white shorts, with Millwall’s wing half Arthur Pembleton.
