Description
Little is known about this player, not even his full name. He was a winger who spent 1895-96 at Notts County without making a first team appearance. He moved to Manchester City and features in their 1896 team group. He made his first team debut on the 10th October 1896 scoring in a 3-3 draw at Notts County. He then scored another goal in City’s 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle United a week later. Finally he played in a 3-1 defeat at Grimsby Town on 24th October, and that is the extent of the information that is known!! I’d suggest this is an extremely rare image of him!!
