Description
Tottenham born winger Arthur Sinning joined his local professional club, Tottenham Hotspur, after the First World War, but he never made a senior appearance for the club. In May 1923 he joined Gillingham and made his Football League debut for them against Bristol Rovers that August, scoring twice in 13 appearances for them (both goals coming in the home and away fixtures against Brighton & Hove Albion) during the rest of 1923. Despite a spell at Clapton Orient, where again he didn’t make their first eleven, this proved the extent of his professional football career.
