Description
Glasgow born outside left William Tennent joined Partick Thistle as an amateur in 1904 aged 17 and spent a season and he soon became a regular in the first team, playing across the forward line, for a period of three months as the team won eight games in succession. He played eleven times for Thistle during 1904-05 before he joined Queen’s Park in the summer of 1905, scoring 5 goals in 15 appearances for The Spiders during the rest of 1905.
