Ward George Image 1 Mansfield Town 1934

Description
Left back George Ward signed for Mansfield Town from Worksop Town along with goalkeeper S.H. Milne in May 1934. Mansfield got his signature despite competition from West Bromwich Albion. However neither player managed to make the breakthrough into the Mansfield first eleven. The rest of Ward’s career is uncertain but he never appeared in the Football League.
