Description
Left back Walter Wilson was a Scot who played 4 times for Southern League Coventry City in 1909-10. He enlisted in March 1914 (prior to the outbreak of the First World War) and served in the King’s Own Scottish Borderers, a regiment that saw action at Gallipoli and the Somme. Wilson was badly injured and was awarded the Military Medal. Full biography to follow.
